Academic Achievement of RPRIT 2023
Broad course: In 2023, RPRIT has successfully completed a few skill development courses – Applied Psychometrics Foundation course, Music Therapy, Qualitative Research Methodology.
• Short course: In 2023, RPRIT has offered some short courses – SPSS based data analysis, R-script based data analysis, Systematic Literature review.
• Collaboration: RPRIT Writing book on statistics in collaboration with ABBS, Bangalore and Offered research internship to students of ABBS on test-retest reliability.
• Training Manual: Successfully Completed Two Training Manuals under Constant Guidance by Dutta Roy Sir, one on Applied Psychometrics and another on Rabindrik Path-Oriented Values. This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of dedicated interns and external faculty.

Visiting faculty,2023

• Dr Rajashree Kapure (Head, Department of Psychology, HPT AND RYK Science and Arts College, Nashik, Maharashtra) visited RPRIT from February 6, 2023, and taught the students of Applied Psychometrics course on research methodology (AP02.1-AP02.5).
• Professor Nov Rattan Sharma, Dean, Academic Affairs, MD University, Rohtak, Haryana graced the occasion for the National Webinar on Mental health infographics organized by RPRIT dated 23.3.2023.
• Dr. Anurupa Kundu (Assistant Professor, St Xavier’s University, Kolkata) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Focus group and Content analysis for One-month online certificate training course titled “Qualitative research methodology” dated 17-06-2023 from 8 PM to 10 PM.
• Dr. Madhukar Gampala (Assistant Professor, Department of Education, University college of education, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Focus group and Narrative analysis for One-month online certificate training course titled “Qualitative research methodology” dated 20-06-2023 and 22-06-2023 from 8 PM to 10 PM.
• Dr. Rita Karmakar (Associate Professor, Amity University) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Case study and Phenomenology for One-month online certificate training course titled “Qualitative research methodology” dated 27-06-2023 and 29-06-2023 from 8 PM to 10 PM.
• Dr. Sumona Dutta (Assistant Professor, Singur Government General Degree College) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Interview technique and Grounded theory for One-month online certificate training course titled “Qualitative research methodology” dated 01-07-2023 and 04-07-2023 from 8 PM to 10 PM.
• Ms. Aayushi Soral,(Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Kanoria P G Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Introduction to Applied Psychometrics for Six-months online certificate training course on Foundation of Applied Psychometrics dated 7-8-2023 from 8 PM to 9 PM to dated 1.9.2023.
• Dr. Sumona Dutta (Assistant Professor, Singur Government General Degree College) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Observation , Qualitative research method and Survey method for Six-month online certificate training course titled “Foundation of Applied Psychometrics” dated 11-09-2023 to 27-09-2023 from 8 PM to 9 PM.

• Dr. E.M. Naresh Babu (Professor, ABBS School of Management, Bangalore) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Foundation Statistics for Six-month online certificate training course titled “Foundation of Applied Psychometrics” dated 08-11-2023 to 04-12-2023 from 8 PM to 9 PM.
• Ms. Aayushi Soral,(Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Kanoria P G Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur) Visited RPRIT as resource person for teaching Literature Review for Two months online certificate course titled “Research methodology and SPSS for beginners ” dated 04-11-2023 and 11-11-2023 from 8 PM to 9 PM.

ANNUAL ACHIEVEMENTS 2022

RPRIT in this year achieved many things:

 
1. Broad course: In this year, RPRIT has successfully completed a few skill development courses -School Psychology, Applied Psychometrics, Forensic Psychology, Questionnaire construction, Tele mental health counselling.
 
2.Short course: In this year, RPRIT has offered some short courses – Music therapy, Rabindrik Psychotherapy, SPSS based data analysis, R-script based data analysis.
 
3.Collaboration: 
3.1. RPRIT offered Business data analysis with ABBS, Bangalore.
3.2.  Principal component analysis with Indian Institute of Psychology.
 
4. Consultancy: RPRIT provided consultancy to one Microfinance organization – Arohan in construction of Psychological test for selection of customer service representatives.
 
5.Award: 
5.1. Dr. D. Dutta Roy, has received ‘ Anita Memorial Innovative Scientist Award ‘ for presentation of research paper titled ‘ Quantum Consciousness in Psychotherapy ‘by the Indian Academy of Health Psychology at the International Conference of the Indian Academy of Health Psychology held at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, UP. dated 22.12.22.
5.2. Three students of Applied Psychometrics have received award for obtaining more than 90% marks. They are Ann Mary, Hasinah Mallik and Sara Chavan.
5.3. Teachers of the Applied Psychometrics have received Awards for their performance. They are Farah Ahmed and Mansi Mathur.
 
6. Memorandum of understanding: 
6.1 RPRIT sent a request for MOU to Adamas University so that RPRIT students and Faculties get the academic and research supports.
 
6.2 RPRIT is preparing another MOU with National Forensic Sciences University in order to develop mutual exchange of research on Forensic Psychology.
 
7.Book Publication
In collaboration with Indian School psychology Association, Dr. D. Dutta Roy in association with Dr. Panch Ramalingam and Dr. Rituparna Basak Dasgupta published one Bengali book titled “ Bharatbarsher Patabhumikay Bidyalaya sankranta Manobigyan’. The book was published by Indian School psychology Association, Puducherry.

11. Symposium: 
On 5th February, 2022, Rabindrik Psychotherapy Research Institute Trust (RPRIT) has organized online National level Symposium on Applied Psychometrics. The theme of the seminar was ‘ Current researches in Applied Psychometrics. Six research papers were read and three papers received best paper awards after evaluation of its content, method and delivery.Best paper awards have been given to 3 presenters. It was organized by team of Academic assistants – Priya Verma, Aayushi Soral, Rupali Rawat, Kavitha Saj, Anushree Basu.
 
12. Visiting scientists
 
12.1. Dr. Ravi Gunthey, Retd. Professor of Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur. Dr. Gunthey stressed on Applied Psychometrics for community development, multiple use of Psychological test in multiple situations, computer aided Psychological testing. He introduced Dr. Nita Jain. Dr. Jain focused on application of psychometrics in intellectually disabilities.
12.2. Dr. Maxim Pereira, Assistant Professor of Montfort college, Bengaluru. Dr. Pereira illuminated importance of Psychometrics in Psychological Counseling. He talked about Counseling assessment and measurement differences, importance of standardized and non standardized instruments in Counseling.
12.3. Dr. Tushar Singh, Assistant professor, Department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi chaired the session. 
 

RESEARCH COLLABORATION WITH AROHAN MICROFINANCE COMPANY

On 4th May, Rabindrik Psychotherapy Research Institute Trust (RPRIT) completed formal agreement with Arohan Financial Services Limited for construction of Psychometric assessment questionnaire.

Summary proceedings of
National level Symposium on Applied Psychometrics

On 5th February, 2022, Rabindrik Psychotherapy Research Institute Trust (RPRIT) has organized online National level Symposium on Applied Psychometrics. The theme of the seminar was ‘ Current researches in Applied Psychometrics ‘. The Symposium was started with Stotra from Upanishad, Rabindrasangeet and Kathak dance on ‘Shiva Sambhu’. It was performed by Monalisa Pattanayak, Anushree Basu, Rupali Rawat.Next, Aaushee Soral introduced about the trust and declared names of candidates who have successfully completed the course ‘Applied Psychometrics’. And Rupali Rawat presented the certificates online.

At the first technical session, Priya Verma introduced Dr. Ravi Gunthey, Retd. Professor of Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur.
